About the event

The well-known yet enigmatic 17th Century landscape designer known as 'Capability' Brown was involved in over 200 garden projects, including the design and layout of North Cray Place (pictured above) and the construction of the Five Arch Bridge. He left a legacy described as typical English Landscape. The story of the development of his style as well as the controversies surrounding it are described, no doubt arousing much discussion. Was he a visionary or a vandal? For something that took place on our doorstep, this should be a very interesting talk.

Price: £10 per person (£8 for members) to be paid on the door - cash and card available. Price includes entry and tea/coffee.
