Accessible Meadows Survey

The Friends of Foots Cray Meadows (FFCM) would like to establish the accessibility of the lake area formed by the chalk stream, the River Cray, adjacent to the Five Arch Bridge. To do this, we will engage with disabled users and organisations/charities that represent disabled users and ask them to complete a questionnaire.

The information gathered will be used to produce funding bids aimed at planning and implementing a wheelchair accessible pathway by the lake.

As a result of a successful application to National Lottery Heritage fund, via the Southeast Rivers Trust, the FFCM have received a microgrant which will allow us to engage with Stakeholders, i.e. disabled users, and produce a questionnaire to gather data to support this project.

By completing this questionnaire, you will allow the FFCM to collate data on actual accessibility to the specified site. In addition, we will find out restrictions to access and what recommendations can be made to improve accessibility.

Please complete the questionnaire by Sunday 1st November 2026.
