Pond to Pond Walk and Wildlife Afternoon

Please join the Friends of Foots Cray Meadows (FFCM) on a fascinating guided walking trip that will bring to life eight wildlife ponds that are discreetly placed on our wetlands within the meadows. You will learn about the history and biodiversity of these wonderful reserves – and the work carried out regularly to keep them in prime condition – as we follow the chalk stream that is the River Cray.

At the conclusion of the walk, we will arrive at All Saints Church in Rectory Lane, Sidcup, at around 2pm to link up with the church's Wildlife Afternoon, where tea and cakes will be available for a donation to the church.

Pond to Pond Walk is a free event run by FFCM.

The walk starts at Five Arches Bridge at 12.30pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and suitable clothing and footwear worn for walking alongside the river and crossing the meadows. The walk finishes at All Saints Church, Rectory Lane, Sidcup, DA14 4QN.
