Community litter pick on the meadows

Clean out the January blues and join the Friends of Foots Cray Meadows for a community litter pick.

Volunteers are invited to join the Friends of Foots Cray Meadows on Saturday 10 January for a cleaning blitz of some of the litter ‘grot spots’ around the meadows, which can now be more easily reached during the winter.

Never mind the cold – a couple of hours of team work and we can make a real difference to the meadows!

We will start at the Information Centre at 10am, accessible from the Rectory Lane Car Park entrance of Foots Cray Meadows. Hot drinks will be provided at the end.

Please wear suitable warm, old clothing and sturdy footwear. Gloves, litter pickers and rubbish bags will be provided. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
