You may be aware that the Friends project to implement QR coded information posts on Foots Cray Meadows is nearing completion.
As part of this project we have developed this new website and in doing this we have noticed that we need more photographs to improve the overall experience of navigating this site.
In particular we would be interested in receiving any high quality photographs you have, that could be used to illustrate the following topics;
Pictures of the following in the summer:
Lime Avenue
Chestnut Avenue
Meadow wetlands and ponds
Five Arch Bridge
River Cray and Lake
Cedars of Lebanon
Permitted ride
Riverside Woodland
Generic pictures of the following (ideally photographed on the Meadows)
Fish- e.g Pike, Bream, Carp, Dace
Resident or visiting ducks and Wildfowl
Invertebrates
Butterflies & Moths
Dragonflies & Damselflies
Grasshoppers & Crickets
Wasps and Bees
The photographs will be reviewed and if appropriate they will be put onto this website, if you want to be credited for the photograph, please label the picture with the content and your name, otherwise just label with the content.
Photographs containing people +/- children, will not be placed onto the website, without the explicit consent of those in the photograph.
Please send any photographs that you would like us to consider for placing onto our website to the following email address ffcm06@gmail.com .
Ultimately, we hope to maintain a photograph archive on this website, but this will be done, at a future date.
Many thanks

As a paradox to the request in this post, here is a winter image taken from the Five Arches in February 2009. mh Deputy Editor
