FFCM Speaker Evenings

Updated: Sep 26

If you are looking for an interesting evening out and don’t want to travel too far, how about joining us at one of our new Speaker Evenings?

We have arranged for some professional speakers to come and talk to us on various subjects in the Bothy, next to St James Church off the North Cray Road (DA14 5EU),

We are kicking off on 17th October with a talk by Richard Winston (one of the judges on our recent photography competition) who will be telling us about his photographic journey. The full list of planned speakers can be found below.

Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, with the cost of the evening being £10 per person (£8 for members) including tea or coffee - payment will be taken by cash or card on the door. Car parking will also be available.

We have initially booked four speakers but if the evenings prove popular then we will add new names and possibly change to a larger venue.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Current list of Speaker Evenings:

  • 17th October: Richard Winston - One to 1000 in Photography

  • 14th November: Chris Stewart - Fascinating and Secret Life of the Mole

  • 16th January: Alan from Woodland Trust - Trees and More Trees

  • 20th February: Peter Smith - Bees & Honey: Tradition and Myth
