About the event

Join Nicky Wilson, a volunteer with Greenwich Wildlife Network, for insights into the charity’s work rescuing wildlife across Bexley, Greenwich and nearby areas. Hear about real rescue stories from local parks, including Foots Cray Meadows.  Learn about GWN’s End Catapulting campaign, which aims to protect wildlife from harmful catapult attacks.

Nicky has volunteered with Greenwich Wildlife Network since 2023 and recently became a Trustee. She also volunteers for other animal charities including RSPB Bexley and The Fox Project. In her spare time, when she is not trying to catch pigeons trapped in supermarkets, she enjoys wildlife photography, nature walks and bird watching.
